Bruno A Martinho
Bruno A Martinho is currently a curator at the National Palace of Sintra in Portugal and a researcher at CHAM – Centre for the Humanities (NOVA FCSH, UAç). He is responsible for curating the narrative of the permanent exhibition at the National Palace of Sintra and coordinates research projects related to the palace’s history. Martinho received his Ph.D. from the European University Institute in Florence in 2018, with a dissertation that examined the consumption of non-European objects at the court of the Hispanic Monarchy during the latter half of the 16th century. He also holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from University College London (2007) and a Master’s degree in Art History from NOVA University of Lisbon (2010), after completing his undergraduate studies in History at the University of Lisbon (2006). From 2010 to 2014, he served as a curator at Pena National Palace.
