Domitilla Giordano

Domitilla Giordano is an Italian art historian whose academic and professional
trajectory has developed between Italy and France. She holds a joint Master’s degree
from the University of Bologna and the École Pratique des Hautes Études (Paris). She
subsequently gained relevant experience in the art market, working closely with
galleries and auction houses. Her objective is to integrate this practical expertise into
rigorous academic research. Her interests lie in the political uses of visual culture, with
a particular focus on modes of princely representation. She is currently preparing a
PhD project dedicated to 15th-century princely imagery, proposing a comparative
analysis between the Burgundian and Italian courts.
