The Society is looking for a Secretary to join the Executive Committee. As a voluntary and visible post, the Secretary will play a key part in the Society’s mission to grow and develop a strong community of interdisciplinary scholars, support to all members from early career researchers to independent scholars, and the development of research and engagement opportunities in the field of court studies. The successful candidate will: be someone with a drive and passion for court studies, have a strong commitment to support researchers and scholarship, be proactive and take initiative, and work collaboratively. In particular, the Society is interested in candidates who will oversee the Society’s communications including assisting with website updates, organising and taking minutes of Executive Committee meetings, and carrying out Executive Committee initiatives and tasks. Expressions of interest should be directed to the Society’s President, Professor Helen Watanabe-O’Kelly, and Executive Committee’s current Secretary, Esther Griffin by 31 December 2024. For consideration, please send an email and CV to contact@courtstudies.org.
